About SOB Espresso of Colombia
SOB stands for Single Origin Blend. We take coffees from a single origin, roast a portion of the coffee just before second crack in the roasting process for dark chocolate and sweet notes, and take the remaining portion and roast it just after first crack, for a bright & vibrant punch.
This coffee comes from the Regional Select program at Cafe Imports. This excellent program highlights unique profiles that are inherent to various microclimates in coffee growing countries. This particular lot comes to us from the geographically diverse Nariño region of Colombia that creates the big & sparkling quality of the coffees.

Launched in January of 2018, Folly was born by a deep passion for high end specialty coffees and a lot of hard work from scratch. Folly Coffee Roasters is independently owned and operated, roasting all of our small batch coffee in St. Louis Park, MN (just outside of Minneapolis). We started Folly to introduce people to the world of specialty coffee without any of the pretentiousness. The coffee program is led by Head Roaster Jeff Mooney, a top 15 US Cup Taster's Championship finalist and Certified Q Grader.
