About Las Perlitas of Colombia

The majority of coffee producers in Colombia are small holder farmers with plots of land that average under 5 hectares, or about 12 acres. Oftentimes the lots these farmers produce are simply too small to be exported on their own, despite their incredibly high quality. Our partners in Colombia, in an effort to purchase all coffee that the farmers they work with produce, still buy these nano lots and expertly blend them to create larger, export-size lots based on cup profile and score. Las Perlitas is a result of this dedication to quality and a relationship-based approach to sourcing coffee.
