Coffee Description
We’ve been buying from Marilu López Padilla since 2019 and are excited to offer another of her balanced and sweet coffees on our menu again this season. We’re tasting a round and creamy cup profile with notes of apple and fig.

About Marilu López of Peru
Marilu López's farm, Finca Naranjitos, was inherited in 1998 and named after her aunt who had previously used the land to grow plants for dying fabrics and wool. Half the plot is still planted with various native flora, edible gardens and sugarcane, while the remaining land is for coffee cultivation. Marilu is a member of the COOPBAM cooperative, an association of farmers in Amazonas that focuses on producing coffee in a manner that is sustainable and in balance with the preservation of the local ecosystem.
