About Efrain Carhuallocllo of Peru
Efrain Carhuallocllo Salvador owns 4 hectares of land in El Corazon, Peru. He is an innovative producer, and his farm and wet mill are run with extreme care and precision. Efrain placed 2nd in the very first Cup of Excellence competition in Peru, and he has gone on to place in the top 10 for multiple years, including 9th place in 2024.
Once picked, the coffee is fermented for 24 hours before being washed and dried. Great care is taken during the drying process, which lasts an average of 25 days. This ensures that the coffee is dried slowly and evenly for better longevity.
