Coffee Description
With this iteration of Golden Sound, we sought to build on the foundation of the prior version by aiming for smooth chocolate, sweet apple and subdued nuttiness in the three coffees selected. Surprisingly, the Brazilian component provides a spice note that sets up the structure of the blend, coming across in a more subtle fashion instead of prevalent like the main three notes.

About Balzac Brothers and Cafe Intencional of Costa Rica
Golden Sound's classic, lively flavor profile comes to life with the combination of two Central American coffees. La Pastora (comes to us from CoopeTarrazu in Tarrazu, Costa Rica) makes up 75 percent of the blend with a base flavor of chocolate, peanut, and dried fruit. Finca El Morito(from Jalapa, Guatemala) intensifies the chocolate and introduces a touch of apple to keep things interesting.

Barista Parlor
Barista Parlor was established in 2011. We seek the betterment of coffee with an emphasis on ethical sourcing and sweetness in roasting. Our brewing philosophy focuses on framing both of these qualities not only in a beautiful cup, but in a space where commerce and art intersect. We aim to explore a world of possibilities through coffee!
