About Luis Alberto, Finca Un Regalo de Dios of Nicaragua
We absolutely love Luis Alberto Balladarez and have carried several of his coffees each year for the
last several years. Un Regalo de Dios - which translates to "A Gift from God" - is Luis Alberto's
farm where he experiments with many varietals, processing methods, soil composition, and more. At
this farm, Luis grows the varietals Red Catuai, Yellow Catuai, Pacamara, Maracaturra, Java, Bourbon,
Catimor, and some Hybrids. All of them are standout coffees, not just in terms of Nicaraguan coffees,
but also relative to their varietals - these are truly unique and special coffees.
