About Felipe Ramírez Godínez of Guatemala
Finca Beatriz was part of a bigger farm with the same name but it was thirty three years ago when the actual owner Don Felipe acquired some hectares and began to grow and harvest coffee, of course this is not an easy task and it took years of hard work and passion to have a sustainable and profitable farm. Don Felipe and his Family dedicated their whole life to accomplish this, nowadays 100% of the farm is dedicated to coffee. Currently Finca Beatriz is managed by Don Felipe and his two sons Carlos and Leonardo with 15 permanent employees to help run the 17 hectare farm. The Ramírez are considered pioneers in coffee research and development as they experimented with new processing methods and fermentation techniques before the third wave coffee trend began.
