Coffee Description
A show-stopping coffee has just arrived from Costa Rica. Marquee Pop has tasting notes of cane sugar and red pear, with a finish so clean and polished it earns a standing ovation every time.
This Don Eli coffee comes from the Anfiteatro lot on the Montero family's La Pastora farm in Tarrazu. The lot gets its name from the land itself, which terraces down like the seating of an amphitheatre.

About The Montero Family of Costa Rica
The Montero family have been game-changers in Tarrazu since Carlos built the Don Eli wet mill in 2014 and kicked off a Micro Mill Revolution across the whole region. His son Jacob took over processing and spent years refining a double-washed method, consisting of 30 hours of fermentation, careful washing, and shade drying on raised beds.

Creature Coffee
Creature Coffee is a small-batch coffee roaster based in weird ol’ Austin, Texas. Born during the pandemic, they wanted to bring something fun into an otherwise not-so-fun year. Sharing and introducing people to the best cup of coffee they’ve ever had makes them tick. The ah-ha moment is magical and the story behind their flavor trains is what fascinates and excites this passionate collection of coffee geeks the most. So Creature Coffee started with one mission in mind, to source and roast exceptional coffee while staying honest, approachable, and fun! In a non-traditional, Austin Weird kinda way, they live by their slogan - Let’s Be Friends. Whether it’s their partner farmers, baristas, customers, or mother earth, Creature Coffee tries to do the best thing.
“We love all creatures. In all their glorious shapes, sizes, and colors.” Michael, Co-Owner, Green Buyer and Coffee Wizard.
