About Nano Genji of Ethiopia
Known to be one of the most coveted coffees in all of Western Ethiopia, after twelve years of production at Nano Challa, we were beyond thrilled to get our hands on a bit of this exceptional coffee produced and processed at their sister (or mimi) mill—Nano Genji. Intense and lively, this sparklingly delicious coffee is a testament to the work put in by the 600-plus members of the Kata Muduga cooperative union during the growing, picking, processing, and beyond. Just like any proud sibling, Nano Genji followed in the footsteps of Nano Challa. Its members were so awesome at production and processing, their reputation exploded! So much so, they had to open a new mill a few miles away, decking it out with shiny new Penagos gear and dozens of drying beds to keep up with their superstar status. Now, with 630 members doing the coffee cha-cha between the two stations, they're all set for more growth, more success, and more absolutely scrumptious coffee this year and beyond.

Creature Coffee is a small-batch coffee roaster based in weird ol’ Austin, Texas. Born during the pandemic, they wanted to bring something fun into an otherwise not-so-fun year. Sharing and introducing people to the best cup of coffee they’ve ever had makes them tick. So Creature Coffee started with one mission in mind, to source and roast exceptional coffee while staying honest, approachable, and fun! In a non-traditional, Austin Weird kinda way, they live by their slogan - Let’s Be Friends.
