About Caravan House Blend of Brazil

At Five & Hoek we love to travel. Whether we're visiting friends, family, or partner farmers around the world, we always try and do it as a group, since one of our biggest values is community. So when we decided to develop a "House Blend," we wanted one that traveled well, was approachable and not too crazy in the cup, and encouraged community for all who drank it.

That's how Caravan Blend was born, and just so you know, you don't have to travel to enjoy it, but you can. The bottom line is if you sip it at home, travel with it, or share it with a friend, it will be happy and so will you.

had this to say:

"chocolate mousse; vanilla wafer; cocoa powder; fresh apricot and plum; milk chocolate; cane sugar; sweet cream; fudge; sweet and balanced acidity; caramelized Fragrance of cocoa powder and vanilla wafer, with stone fruit character of fresh plums and apricots. It carries through to chocolate mousse and flavors of fudge with a lingering cane sugar quality. A rounded sweet and balanced acidity and a caramelized/velvety mouthfeel. "

Five & Hoek

Five & Hoek, roasting since 2011, is focused on living life in community and connecting with others (or themselves with a good book) through coffees that tell stories. Their own story starts in India, where owners Tyler and Erich fell in love with the laid back culture experienced in tea gardens (and rickshaw rides), and brought back a desire to share that experience through the avenue of coffee and community.

Five & Hoek opened their Wheaton cafe in 2014, and are expanding to put both cafe and roastery under the same roof in 2019, where they will continue to source and roast both approachable and experimental coffees. They serve delicious coffee and inspire community through local customers and producers partners as they live out their tagline, “Coffee / Connection / Community.
