Coffee Description

This set contains a 6 ounce bag of Bolivia Los Rodriguez Select Lots (2024 Good Food Awards Winner) and a 6 ounce bag of Burundi Gahahe Cima Natural (2023 Good Food Awards Winner) - 12 ounces total.

A Good Food Award is one of the most esteemed praises that a company can get. Not only does your coffee need to be utterly phenomenal in taste but it needs to represent ethics that push our industry into a better world. Last year was our first time submitting to the competition and we proudly took home a gold. This year we’ve done it again; something not a lot of roasters can brag about. It’s proof that our Good Shit Energy sets us apart.

About Bolivia: Pedro, Daniela & Pablo Rodriguez / Burundi: 900 Smallholder Farmers of Bolivia

Coffee 1: BOLIVIA, LOS RODRIGUEZ, Select Lots
In the never ending quest for rare coffees, Goshen asked the Los Rodriguez family if they could try out different varieties grown on their farms. Their Java and Batian variety lots jumped off the cupping table. When they were blended together at Goshen’s secret ratio, the coffee became otherworldly. Now you get to experience alchemy at its finest.

Coffee 2: BURUNDI GAHAHE, Cima Yeast Natural
Cima yeast helps amplify flavors during coffee’s fermentation process. Coffee cherries and Cima naturally ferment together, then move to raised beds to dry for 2-3 weeks. The end result is dramatically complex with big fruity notes that aren’t normal for coffees from Burundi but are guaranteed to blow your mind with each sip.
