Coffee Description
Discovered in 2009 at El Progreso farm in Acevedo, Colombia, this unique variety of Caturra showcases phenotypical differences that set it apart. The beans are harvested at 24–28° Brix and a pH of 5.6–5.9, ensuring peak sweetness and balance. Following harvest, the coffee undergoes precise processing: pulped, fermented for 34 hours, washed, and parabolically dried for 18–22 days.
El Progreso, a 23-hectare farm managed by Rodrigo Sanchez Valencia, sits at 1,730m and boasts world-class varieties like Geisha and Purple Caturra. Its cutting-edge facilities ensure meticulous quality.

MoonGoat Coffee
MoonGoat coffee is on a mission to make better coffee, easier, daily. This informs our decision making every day. We focus on serving our local community well, converting folks to specialty coffee, and transforming the way our world views coffee by educating humbly. Since 2018 the perspective we have taken is meeting people where they are at. A mobile location at first has grown into a 3 location and 30 person strong team, a testament to growth in the face of adversity in 2020. We hope as many people as possible can try our take on coffee, Join the HERD!
