Coffee Description
We are so excited to bring back Guatemala Villeja! Villeja coffee producer Nelson Monterroso and his son Asael pay special attention to the varietal they grow and do an outstanding job of delivering maroon colored cherries to the mill. This has helped bring a delightful sweetness, clarity and consistency to this coffee. Expect a beautifully clean cup with the creaminess and flavor of meringue, as well as notes of milk chocolate and golden raisin.

About Asael Monterroso of Guatemala
Nelson and Asael Monterroso are a father and son duo that have restored coffee farming in their family. When the price of coffee reached a historical low their family decided to leave the business. Now with help from his son Asael, Nelson has been able to combine his experience in farming with the creativity and innovation of his son. They pay special attention to the varietal they grow and do an outstanding job of delivering maroon colored coffee cherries to the mill.
