Coffee Description
At the southern tip of Huila, near historic San Agustin, lies Finca Primavera. Here volcanic soil, high elevation, and abundant rainfall team up to produce the coffee that won first place in the 2011 Colombia North Cup of Excellence contest, and carries the 2013 title of United States & World Barista Championship Winning Farm. Distinctive and in demand, it scored an amazing 94.05 from COE.
Intense tangerine fragrance mingles with floral and nutty expressions when wet. This coffee offers a creamy body and complex, juicy acidity—bright floral notes pair with lemon and a savory, tomato-like aftertaste. Notes of roasted almond and subtle apple appear as it cools.

About Arnulfo Leguizamo of Colombia
Arnulfo, the son of a coffee farmer, began his own coffee farming journey some 20 years ago. From the beginning, he's been committed to producing the best coffee possible while remaining environmentally responsible. At Finca Primavera, Arnulfo and his family are dedicated to protecting water sources and natural wildlife and habitat. His plan to steward his land without contamination fuels his practice of using non-chemical fertilizers on his coffee plants.
A member of Associacion Los Naranjos, a 40-family cooperative in the famed Huila Department of southwestern Colombia, Arnulfo says:
“I have to do things with love, dedication and with the support of my wife and my children.”
The excellence of his coffee bears witness that this motto is more than mere words.
