Coffee Description
In our opinion, this lot from Mayogi has an ideal Rwandan flavor profile, with loads of sweetness and spice in the cup. We also taste the unique presence of stone fruit acidity and soft floral notes that elevates this coffee to one of our early favorites of the year.

About Mayogi Cooperative of Rwanda
In the fertile highlands of the Gicumbi District in the Northern Province of Rwanda lies the Mayogi Cooperative, a group of just under 400 coffee farmers dedicated to producing exceptional coffee. Through the support of the Sustainable Growers initiative, women play a major role in the cooperative, serving in the President and Vice President roles and composing 50% of the Board of Directors.
We have had the good fortune of spending time with Florence Niyomahoro, President of the Mayogi Cooperative during our time in Rwanda, and are very excited to feature their coffee on our roster again.

Tinker Coffee Co.
When brothers-in-law Steve Hall and Jeff Johnson founded Tinker Coffee Co., they had a simple plan: bring the specialty coffee scene to their own Indianapolis, Indiana backyard. Combining backgrounds in wine and tech (Jeff worked with IBM for 10 years) with a dedication to sourcing fantastic coffees and sharing the excitement with customers, Tinker Coffee was named "Best Coffee in Indiana" by Food & Wine, so their hard work is paying off!
Tinker Coffee was founded in 2014 and roasts coffee for a sweet group of restaurants, cafes, offices, and markets. Jeff admits to preferring Colombian coffees, and Steve, Kenyas.
