Coffee Description
A robust decaf, this coffee offers notes of toasted walnuts along with a molasses sweetness touched by hints of dried apple and tart blackberry. It’s light-bodied and sweet, with brown sugar and cocoa in the finish: balanced and delicately smooth.

About Co-op members of Peru
In 1999, 220 small-scale coffee farmers from 11 community associations joined together to create a cooperative alliance, Central Fronteriza del Norte de Cafetaleros--CENFROCAFE. Now, 15 years later, their number has grown to more than 2,000 members from local associations in 12 districts in the Cajamarca region.
Centered in the town of Jaen, CENFROCAFE assists member farmers with technical issues, quality control, lends economic and leadership training as well. Other benefits include short-term credit to help cover harvest costs until the farmer sells his coffee, facilitating community development throughout their area of influence, and support for the commercial endeavors of members. This strong organization has helped improve coffee cultivation and quality, improving revenue for grower members, and giving them access to basic education, health, and other services.

Voyage Coffee Roasters
Voyage Coffee Roasters was birthed in beautiful Eugene, Oregon, in 2012 when Scott Van Den Elzen decided to take his home roasting hobby to the Willamette Valley and his daughter, Jessamyn, decided to join him. Over seven years later, they are still going strong, and the rest of the family—Gabriel, Peace, Ryland and Alyssa—pitch in with packaging, deliveries, sales, ideas, and anything else that needs doing!
Roast Master Scott sticks to small batches of outstanding coffees, both blends and single origins, focusing on coffees that bring the flavors of rich chocolate, nutty, and caramel notes his family enjoys.
