Coffee Description

This coffee screams early grey. Floral, bergamot citrus aroma and flavors. What really sets this coffee apart is the body. Although much of the flavor is delicate, the body is heavy/syrupy. Watermelon sweetness rides the cup. This coffee will be a wonderful summer sipper and a great candidate for iced coffee.

About Bona Zuria Washing Station of Ethiopia

In Ethiopia, coffee is most often purchased from washing stations. Cherries are delivered from the surrounding area and processed. Coffee is often purchased in day lots. This is lot 210. In lieu of producer, lets talk about Catalyst Trade. Catalyst is a coffee importer with employees here and in Ethiopia. They specialize in attention to detail, diverse lot selection, and buying coffee ethically. Although fairly new, they have quickly gathered a reputation for quality across micro lots and larger regional selections. Here is a quote that reflects a little about their ethos.

"In response to both our producers and roasters, we have developed a unique multi-faceted buying program, and we are flying that flag proudly. We specialize in bringing you coffees that will make your customers—or judges at the next coffee competition—sip and take notice. AND we source a near-endless supply of stable, value-driven coffees to give both you and the coffee producers peace of mind and the ability to plan for the future. By taking this action, together we are able to support the full economy of coffee production. We celebrate the colorful and flamboyant top lots—while paying higher premiums for the tasty and steady plots that would otherwise go randomly to the ECX. "
