Coffee Description
This coffee has been a staff favorite since the first time we tried it four years ago. Simple and sweet. Toasted sugar and cola prevails in the cup, with a syrupy body, and moderate acidity. Drink it any way. We love it as single origin espresso and cold brew in a addition to french press and pour over. Can't go wrong.

About Felipe Ramirez of Guatemala
Don Felipe along with his two sons Carlos and Leonardo, own and operate Finca Beatriz in beautiful Huehuetenango.
The farm sits at 1800 masl and they grow several varietals on site. The coffee received excellent cupping scores at origin and on our table. Don Felipe shows a curiosity in process techniques, drying times, the quality of his coffee, and how to get the most from his crop.
This is our fourth year working with the Ramirez family. As we have learned more about this coffee we discovered the Felipe's fermentation tanks are unsealed concrete. We think that this helps explain how a washed Guatemalan coffee can pack so much fruity sweetness.
