Pichindé is a town in the west of the Colombian municipality of Cali . It limits to the north with the township of La Leonera and to the south with the township of Los Andes . It is one of the least populated towns in the rural area of Cali. There is no clarity about its name, but it is believed to come from the ancient settlers of Valle del Cauca.

Since 1968, the township has been part of the Farallones de Cali Natural National Park . Its settlement process begins in 1880 when the first colonizers arrived from the departments of Antioquia, Nariño and Cauca.
