Coffee Description
This coffee is the perfect mixture of comforting and exciting. The flavors at the front are syrupy sweet like a ripe peach and has a round and silky mouthfeel. The finish is clean like the final bite of a red apple and has a nice, long linger.

About Jose Mario of Colombia
When we visited Jose Mario and his wife Jacey in November 2018 we learned a lot about the significant challenges facing them as a small family run operation. Because this is the second year that we’ve purchased their entire production, we’re very interested in finding ways to ensure they can continue to produce great coffee.
Finca Mirolindo is the name of the farm Jose Mario and his wife, Jacey, work. Because Mirolindo
is a section of the original family farm owned by Jose Mario’s parents, they don’t hire
pickers to harvest coffee. Instead the entire family works together to harvest the section
of the farm that each child received. Jose Mario also works his two brothers’ plots
because they have significant physical and mental disabilities.

Dapper & Wise
In 2013, Insomnia's owners Evan Aldrete and Tyler Geel launched Dapper & Wise as a tasting room and roasting facility in Portland's Western suburbs, and by 2014, as a wholesaler as well.
Based out of Hillsboro, Oregon, Evan and Tyler work with a stellar team, all of whom are dedicated to the values that undergird Dapper & Wise: “We want people to walk through our doors and feel welcome. We want people to taste our coffee and be impressed and inspired. We want the coffee we roast to exemplify the hard work of the producers that grow it.”
