Coffee Description
This is the first natural-processed coffee we have offered from the Halo Beriti washing station! This coffee is a Wolisho regional variety. Boledu Industrial works to provide farmers with the education and training needed to meet specialty coffee standards, such as best picking practices to ensure high percentages of ripe cherries and employing agronomists to oversee the preparation and processing of washed and natural coffees at the washing stations.

About Boledu Industrial of Ethiopia
One of our newest relationship coffees comes to us through a friendship forged between Joey Dolin (D&W’s Coffee Director) and Mebrahtu Aynalem, co-founder of Boledu Industrial. Started in 2018 by Mebrahtu and his friend Abyote Ageze, Boledu is an exporter and washing station operator working across multiple districts in Ethiopia. Boledu also ranked #21 as a winning producer in Ethiopia's first Cup of Excellence competition in 2020.

Dapper & Wise
In 2013, Insomnia's owners Evan Aldrete and Tyler Geel launched Dapper & Wise as a tasting room and roasting facility in Portland's Western suburbs, and by 2014, as a wholesaler as well.
Based out of Hillsboro, Oregon, Evan and Tyler work with a stellar team, all of whom are dedicated to the values that undergird Dapper & Wise: “We want people to walk through our doors and feel welcome. We want people to taste our coffee and be impressed and inspired. We want the coffee we roast to exemplify the hard work of the producers that grow it.”
