Coffee Description
This natural Gesha is very rich in flavor. While many Peruvian microlots invoke a light, tropical experience, Homer's coffee walks a bolder path.
Notes of blueberry cobbler, brown butter, and red wine are all fighting for attention in this roast, yet you'll agree the final product proves they don't detract from one another. Even its body is bold, making this a true statement coffee.
Funky fermentation techniques are very in right now. These novel processes of drying, de-pulping, and experimenting tend to produce flavor profiles that even connoisseurs are wowed by. Homer's coffee is a naturally processed Gesha--no especially crazy shenanigans here--and yet it hits many of the same marks we've seen highlighted repeatedly by those trendy coffees, like characteristics of wine and prevalent fruit notes. It's a product that's in tune with the times, so we highly recommend you take note.
