We set out to make the best dark roast of all time. We wanted a thick, heavy body, intense sweetness, and deep roasty notes that all work in harmony in the cup. We started with the natural Ethiopia Sasaba and added the right amount of time and temperature to our traditional profile, and boom. The best dark roast ever. Darrrk delivers a whole new level of body and richness from anything we have ever roasted. It's excellent in any brew method but shines as immersion brews and espresso. Also, you have to try it with milk y’all - perc-fection!

About Tsegay Hagos Tesfaye of Ethiopia
Tsegay Hagos Tesfaye founded Sasaba in the tiny town of Bule Hora in the Kercha district of Ethiopia. The mill has a large pulper and over 600 raised African drying beds. Sasaba processes coffee received from over 500 smallholders working in the hills surrounding the mill. Like much of Kercha, Sasaba is around 2,000 meters above sea level. The Sasaba mill works with farmers who have proven to produce high-quality coffee and ensures fair prices for their crops.

In 2010, Philip Brown started Panther's Eye Roasting Co with the mission to share good times and awesome coffee. With a roaster, a bicycle, and loud tunes, Philip began building a brand one bag at a time. Soon he realized two things: the name needed to be shorter and he needed to partner with some awesome folks to help grow the company. PERC Coffee grew through community, authenticity, hard work, and the curiosity to blaze new trails.
