Coffee Description
Uraga's coffee exhibits vibrant stone fruit notes like peach and apricot, paired with floral undertones and a honey sweetness. We sourced this one after tasting tons of Ethiopian samples, and it stood out as a classic example of a washed Ethiopian coffee - Bright, peachy, floral, and tea-like. These are hallmarks of a fantastic Ethiopia, and Uraga hit the mark this year. Get you some!

About Uraga Woreda of Ethiopia
Uraga is a district in the East Guji Zone and one of the few sites in Ethiopia where coffee is grown above 2000 meters. It’s located 450 km from the capital city of Addis Ababa. Coffee grown here benefits from the area's rich volcanic soil and high altitude, resulting in incredibly complex flavors. These ideal growing conditions, along with local farmers' dedication have made Uraga the source of some of the most sought-after coffees in the region.

PERC
In 2010, Philip Brown started Panther's Eye Roasting Co with the mission to share good times and awesome coffee. With a roaster, a bicycle, and loud tunes, Philip began building a brand one bag at a time. Soon he realized two things: the name needed to be shorter and he needed to partner with some awesome folks to help grow the company. PERC Coffee grew through community, authenticity, hard work, and the curiosity to blaze new trails.
