Coffee Description

When we first found this coffee, it blew us away. Its aroma reminds us of tropical fruit—think passion fruit and mango. When we took our first sip, Benti Nenka took our tongues on a trip to a fantastic land where red grapes, strawberries, and blueberry jam danced with honey bears and chocolate bars. They laughed and sang sweet songs as they high-fived our taste buds. It's safe to say that we love this coffee as much as our tongues did. We bought as much of it as possible, and you should, too.

About Benti Nenka Washing of Ethiopia

Benti Nenka is located in the southern part of the Guji Zone and is renowned for its exceptional coffee. The region's perfect altitude, abundant rainfall, and rich soil provide the ideal conditions for producing excellent coffee. The community of Benti Nenka takes great pride in the quality of their coffee. Over 400 small share farms contribute to the fantastic coffee from Benti Nenka.

After farmers hand-pick the cherries and transport them to a processing mill, they undergo meticulous sorting to remove overripe, under ripe, or damaged cherries, ensuring the highest possible quality. The cherries are then processed anaerobically for 7-10 days at cold temperatures and then dried in the shade on raised beds for 15 to 20 days until reaching a moisture content of 11%. The coffee is then sorted a final time for quality and stored for export.

PERC

In 2010, Philip Brown started Panther's Eye Roasting Co with the mission to share good times and awesome coffee. With a roaster, a bicycle, and loud tunes, Philip began building a brand one bag at a time. Soon he realized two things: the name needed to be shorter and he needed to partner with some awesome folks to help grow the company. PERC Coffee grew through community, authenticity, hard work, and the curiosity to blaze new trails.

My Brew Queue

What is my Brew Queue?

This is your coffee queue, basically your Subscription lineup. Set your frequency and press play! Pause any time and shipping is always free. The first coffee in the list is the next coffee to be roasted and shipped but you are welcome to change the order or remove coffees from the queue anytime. The top half is for the coffees you add, feel free to keep it loaded up. The bottom half is coffees we suggest based off your answers to our coffee preferences quiz. If your Brew Queue is Active and their are no coffees in the top half, it will default to sending you coffees from the suggested coffees in the bottom half, until you add more coffees to your Main Brew Queue or press pause.
