Coffee Description
Nanelle extended the Maillard to caramelize the sugars and bring out more body, then she added 30 seconds to the total roast time to bring out decadent dark chocolate Black Forest cherry cake and loads of almond and honey. This is already our favorite single origin espresso all year.

About Edwin Martinez of Guatemala
2024 marks our 20th anniversary of working with Edwin Martínez of Finca Vista Hermosa in Guatemala. This coffee Edwin named Centenario to reflect the timeless quality of the coffee, to celebrate his grandfathers 105th birthday and to recognize the legacy and history of our relationship.
Finca Vista Hermosa is the coffee that is most close to our hearts. Back in 2004 when we had just begun roasting at our previous coffee roasting company, we made a fortuitous connection with Edwin Martinez. We ended up buying our first coffee from him. And we were the first roaster he had sold his coffee too. A 20 year friendship started with a phone call and continues to this day.
